Intro

I was low on funds and had been looking for ways to make money while looking for work. The most lucrative path I found: Online Casinos.

There’s 60+ websites for online casinos that get around gambling laws on a technicality: they are all setup as sweepstakes websites.

Here’s how they work:

In order to qualify as a “sweepstakes” and not get banned, each site has to give players a way to win real money/prize without spending any money. They do this by offering two types of currency: Gold coins (worthless and used for the free-to-play games) and Sweepstakes Coins. Sweepstakes Coins are worth actual money, typically $1/coin. Once those add up to a minimum amount ($100 on most sites) then they can be withdrawn to a bank or converted into gift cards.

Of course all of these sites are trying to get people to stay on them, gamble away the coins, and pay to “top-up” in hopes of winning lots of cash-redeemable Sweepstakes Coins.

So how do I get these coins without gambling or putting money in?

Part of this hustle involves farming the Daily Bonus that most sites offer. I have to login to each casino site once a day and collect the daily bonus. Most sites make it easy but sometimes the daily bonus is hidden in a menu and not placed somewhere obvious.

The other part to this hustle requires taking advantage of the generous Welcome Offers and other bonus deals that most sites will provide. I will buy the offers that give me 100-250% extra in SC coins, play in a way that best preserves my balance, and then withdrawing my funds once I hit the “playthrough” requirement for my coins. This is not gambling, but playing in a conservative way that keeps our losses minimal and allowing us to redeem most of the coins that we start with. With a good strategy Sweeps players can turn a profit on offers as low as 10%!

How much money can I make doing this?

For players who are just collecting daily bonuses across the several dozen websites, expect to collect $4-500 worth of cash-redeemable SC per month. However, if you start purchasing coin offers and building up for redemptions more aggresively you can earn upwards of $2,000 per month. This isn’t a full income replacement but can definitely be a side hustle that helps cover some bills or give you some extra spending money.

How much time does this take?

There is a decent amount of time spent getting all of the accounts setup. I’ve had to verify my age and identity several times using 3rd party services which included taking pictures of my ID and face. I’ll eventually have to do this on every site to withdraw funds. I had to receive many, many cell phone verification texts, verification emails, etc. My throwaway email’s inbox is all casino ads now. Most of the sites need location services on to check my physical location because these sites are banned in several states.

Every casino/sweeps site has a “playthrough” requirement for the SC that you buy from them. On most sites this means you have to wager $1 worth of SC to have $1 be redeemable to your bank account.
